How MovingCost.co.uk Makes Money
MovingCost.co.uk is a free service. To keep the calculator and guides free for everyone, we partner with a small number of UK removal and transport companies. When you click certain links on our site and go on to use the partner’s service, we may receive a small commission — at no extra cost to you.
Who We Partner With
Our current affiliate partners include:
- Getamover— a UK quote-comparison service that connects you with up to 6 vetted local removal companies.
- AnyVan— a UK transport marketplace offering instant pricing for removals, man-and-van and single-item transport.
- We may also work with smaller local partners and storage providers from time to time.
All affiliate links on this site are marked with the standard rel="sponsored nofollow noopener noreferrer" attributes so search engines and accessibility tools can identify them.
How We Keep Recommendations Independent
- The calculator is not pay-to-play.The price ranges shown by our calculator come from publicly-available UK industry data and our own research — not from any partner.
- We don’t accept payment for placement. Partners cannot pay to appear higher in our comparisons or to receive a more favourable write-up.
- We disclose every commercial relationship.If you see a partner link, the page or section will clearly say so — for example on our comparison page.
- We can drop a partner.If a partner’s service quality drops or we receive consistent negative feedback from users, we’ll remove them — even if they pay the highest commission.
Your Choice
You are never required to use one of our partner links. You’re welcome to take the estimate from our calculator and approach any removal company you choose. The calculator, guides, city pages and checklists are free to use either way.
